Alki Beach is located less than 20 minutes due west of Downtown Seattle, offering great views of Puget Sound, downtown Seattle, the Space Needle and Mount Rainier. Summer time is populated by beach volleyball players, sun worshipers, joggers and beachcombers. The quiet winter months bring forth spectacular views of the snowcapped Olympic Mountain range across Puget Sound.
It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on Alki Beach!
I came from my birthplace and home in Hilo, Hawaii to attend Seattle University. While attending college, I worked at the Beach Broiler, which is now the renowned Salty’s on Alki. I settled on Alki Beach in 1975 while pursuing my teaching degree and doing my internship at West Seattle’s Chief Sealth High School.
I have relished being an active resident of Alki Beach for 36 years; having served on the Alki Community Council since 2002 and am currently serving as its Vice President.
I remember well the, “old” Alki Beach and have watched the evolution of the Beach as a destination location. While living in one of the original beach houses, I have enjoyed witnessing the development of beautiful condominiums along the, “Golden Mile”.
Today, Alki Beach is a vibrant community composed of the summer homes of old, standing proudly side-by-side with modern new homes and condominiums.
One of my favorite activities – besides doing Real Estate – is tending to the magnitudes of flowers that accent my houses on Alki.
My successful 19 year history of selling real estate, my extensive history in West Seattle, and my long term ownership on Alki make me a great resource for home buyers and sellers alike.
Come join us at the beach and let me help you make Alki your home!
